A British soldier, Ross David Cutmore, has been sentenced to eight years and six months in prison for spying on Ukraine for Russia while working as a military instructor. Cutmore, from Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland, admitted to transmitting sensitive information about the Ukrainian military to Russian specail services in exchange for payment. the plea deal was finalized at the Kyiv district court of Odesa on April 30.
