All-ACC Recognition

Prunty served as Wake Forest’s No. 1 cornerback during the 2025 season and earned a third-team All-ACC selection. He played in all 13 games last season, demonstrating his durability and consistent performance.

PFF Grade

Pro Football Focus ranked Prunty as the No. 12 coverage cornerback nationally and the second-best in the ACC following his redshirt senior year. This high ranking highlights his skills in pass coverage.

Bengals’ Defensive Revamp

Coordinator’s Outlook

The Bengals are aiming to improve a defense that struggled in the previous season. Defensive Coordinator Al Golden expressed optimism about the team’s core players at the 2026 NFL Combine. “Really excited about the nucleus we have coming back,” Golden stated. He emphasized the need to add impactful players who align with the team’s culture.

Focus on Improvement

Golden highlighted the progress of players like Dax and DJ, as well as Myles Murphy. He believes the team can build upon existing pieces and add leadership through the draft. “We can add the leadership. They have to match our culture,” Golden added.
