AT&T officially announced the launch of OneConnect, a novel service offering customers the ability to subscribe to both wireless mobile service and fiber home internet under one unified plan. This consolidation aims to simplify billing and potentially reduce monthly expenditures for consumers.

The introductory pricing for the OneConnect bundle begins at $90 per month. This base price includes a single phone line and unlimited mobile data. Furthermore, this entry-level plan covers mobile data access for three additional user-chosen devices, such as tablets or smartwatches.

Key Features of the Base Plan

The fiber internet component of the OneConnect service delivers speeds reaching up to 1Gbps. A significant benefit highlighted by the announcement is that the quoted prices, starting at $90, are inclusive of all applicable taxes and fees, ensuring transparent billing.

The mobile portion of the plan features unlimited data. AT&T has not yet specified any details regarding potential data throttling after reaching a certain usage threshold, a point of interest for many customers.

Options for Larger Households

AT&T is also catering to larger households with expanded family plans. These premium subscriptions can reach up to $225 per month.

The more comprehensive family plans significantly increase capacity, allowing for up to ten concurrent phone lines. Additionally, these higher-tier packages support mobile data access for a total of ten devices. This structure presents a substantial money-saving prospect for large families currently managing separate utility and mobile accounts.
