Ashlee Simpson was crowned the winner of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday, April 1st. The singer, revealed to be the Galaxy Girl during the finale, beat out her competition after performing “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo and “Try” by Pink.

Galaxy Girl's Identity Revealed

Ashlee Simpson, 41, received support from her sister, Jessica Simpson, who appeared on stage during the finale as a final clue to Galaxy Girl’s identity. “My sister was proud. She was so proud I made it to the end,” Ashlee shared in a post-finale interview.

The Finale's Unmaskings

The finale featured the unmaskings of three other contestants. Normani was revealed as the Crane, finishing in fourth place. Kylie Cantrall was unmasked as the Cat Witch, securing third place. Phillip Phillips was the runner-up, revealed to be Pugcasso.

Simpson's Experience on the Show

“I’m kind of freaking out right now,” Ashlee said on the show after her win. “I’ve literally had the best experience of my life here.” She also emphasized the challenge of the competition, stating, “It’s shown me a lot for myself because people think, ‘Oh, this is easy.’ It is hard work.”

Ashlee explained that she initially joined the show for fun, hoping her children would enjoy it. She shares daughter Jagger, 10, and son Ziggy, 5, with Ross Nash, 37, and son Bronx, 17, with ex-husband Pete Wentz. She admitted to becoming competitive as the show progressed, calling it “a whole fun, exciting game.”
