Springer Nature, a leading global research publisher, is seeking a highly motivated Associate or Senior Editor to join the team at Communications AI & Computing. This position is based in either Shanghai, Beijing, Pune, or New Delhi and offers a hybrid working model.

The Role: Communications AI & Computing
Communications AI & Computing is a multidisciplinary, open-access journal focused on high-quality research across computational sciences and Artificial Intelligence. The journal aims to champion rigorous, reproducible, and reusable research, from fundamental algorithm development to large-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate submitted manuscripts based on expert advice and journal standards.
- Contribute to the development of editorial policies, particularly regarding AI ethics and open science.
- Advise authors on manuscript preparation to ensure clarity and impact.
- Recruit, support, and guide a team of external editors.
- Represent the journal at conferences and research institutions.
- Promote published research through press releases and Research Highlights.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a PhD-level research background in computational social science, computational neuroscience, and/or computational linguistics, with a strong focus on AI ethics and human-machine interaction. Researchers from other AI-related disciplines with relevant ethical and policy experience are also encouraged to apply.
