The Vancouver Goldeneyes defeated the Minnesota Frost 4-3 in overtime on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Pacific Coliseum, bringing their inaugural Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season to a close.

Season Finale Thriller

The game, attended by 11,310 fans, marked a positive conclusion to the Goldeneyes’ season, despite their playoff elimination on April 18th. The team then focused on the “Gold Plan,” aiming to secure the first overall pick in the 2026 PWHL Entry Draft.

Key Performances

Jenn Gardiner of Surrey led the Goldeneyes with a goal and two assists. Hannah Miller and Sophie Jaques each contributed a goal and an assist to the victory.

Kendall Coyne Schofield opened the scoring for Minnesota in the first period, but Gardiner quickly answered. Sarah Nurse then gave Vancouver the lead, and Miller extended it in the second period. Minnesota responded with goals from Kelly Pannek and Klára Hymlárová, sending the game to overtime.
