Britton, hailing from Montreal, kicked off the race with the opening leg, which included a 300-metre swim, a six-kilometre bike ride, and a 1.5-kilometre run. Mislawchuk, from Oak Bluff, Manitoba, took over and completed his swim in second place before leading Canada into the tag zone after his run.
Howell, representing Airdrie, Alberta, finished the penultimate leg in second place. Sobey, from Charlottetown, had the challenging task of battling the United States and France for third place after Great Britain and Spain broke away on the bike.
