Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein successfully obtained a court order on Wednesday mandating the closure of Pressure Lounge 614. This action follows the shooting death of 36-year-old DeKevin Louis inside the establishment two weeks prior.

“Columbus desires a thriving and exciting nightlife, but insists that all bars and nightclubs adhere strictly to the law and prioritize the safety of their patrons and the surrounding community,” stated Klein. He explained that the lounge “flagrantly disregarded legal requirements” and posed a danger to patrons and nearby residents.
