In a heartfelt tribute to their late son, a family has organized an art event featuring donations from celebrities to support neurodivergent youth. Stefan's Acts of Kindness (Stak), a non-profit group, is hosting a three-day art exhibition in Cliftonville, Kent, showcasing over 160 artworks donated by notable figures including actors Nick Frost and Tom Glynn-Carney, as well as musicians James Bay and David Gray.
Honoring a Life and Raising Awareness
Stefan's father, Tristan Kluibenschadl from Margate, shared that his son's mental health declined due to bullying related to his autism. To commemorate Stefan's birthday, Kluibenschadl wanted to create a meaningful and creative event. The overwhelming response from celebrities has left the family deeply grateful.
Fundraising for Specialized Counseling
The event aims to raise £5,500 to fund 100 hours of specialist counseling for young people with autism. Tristan believes that the more funds they raise, the more hours of counseling they can provide, ultimately helping more neurodivergent children. The initiative highlights the importance of mental health support for neurodivergent youth and the impact of community and celebrity involvement.
