Ongoing Health Challenges

Tulisa has been openly sharing her health struggles with her followers. She previously received a Bell’s palsy diagnosis in 2020, and the condition has recurred.

In a recent Instagram post, she revealed she canceled an egg retrieval procedure due to hormonal issues and nicotine withdrawal, describing the withdrawal as “hellish.” She also underwent surgery to remove cysts linked to her Bell’s palsy.

Supporting a Friend Through Cancer

Adding to her personal challenges, Tulisa learned that a close friend, Shelly, has been diagnosed with aggressive cancer. Shelly is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The stress of Shelly’s diagnosis, combined with post-surgery effects, triggered another Bell’s palsy attack, resulting in minor paralysis for about a week.

Focus on Mental Strength

Despite these difficulties, Tulisa emphasizes the importance of mental and emotional strength. She acknowledged that life has both highs and lows.

She encouraged her followers to focus on their mindset and praised Shelly’s strength. Tulisa also noted that her inner work over the past six months has helped her recover more quickly from setbacks.
