Comedian Miranda Hart and her husband Richard Fairs have arrived in Scotland ahead of filming for the second series of 'Celebrity Traitors', marking her return to television after a prolonged health struggle.

Miranda Hart and Richard Fairs were spotted arriving at Inverness airport on Sunday via private jet. The couple is preparing for filming in the scenic Scottish Highlands. Hart, 53, appeared relaxed and cheerful, wearing an oversized black shirt, cropped blue jeans, and white trainers.

Richard Fairs, 60, accompanied her, dressed in a blue quarter-zip jumper and jeans.

Health Challenges

This appearance is particularly significant as Hart has largely been out of the public eye due to a challenging health battle lasting over three decades. She was initially bedridden and experienced a loss of joy.

It took 33 years for medical professionals to correctly diagnose her with Lyme Disease, initially misattributing her symptoms to agoraphobia. She was later also diagnosed with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome.

Star-Studded Cast

Alongside Hart, a notable cast has begun arriving in Scotland, including Maya Jama, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Ross Kemp, Joanne McNally, Jerry Hall, Richard E Grant, Bella Ramsey, and Amol Rajan. The group is gathering at Ardross Castle, the show’s setting.

Full Lineup Revealed

The second series of 'Celebrity Traitors' features a diverse lineup of actors, comedians, musicians, and personalities. Other participants include Michael Sheen, James Blunt, Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, James Acaster, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Hannah Fry, King Kenny, Myha’la, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney.

Filming Begins

The BBC released a teaser trailer on Saturday, revealing the full cast and playfully misspelling some names – a nod to the show’s deceptive nature. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the series promises a thrilling game of strategy, suspicion, and betrayal as celebrities attempt to identify the 'traitors' among them.

Filming is set to begin imminently, and fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere of the new season.
