Comedian Miranda Hart and her husband Richard Fairs have arrived in Scotland ahead of filming for the second series of 'Celebrity Traitors'. This appearance signifies Hart’s return to television after a significant period of health challenges.

Return to the Screen After Health Battle

Miranda Hart and Richard Fairs were spotted arriving at Inverness airport on Sunday via private jet. The couple is preparing for filming in the Scottish Highlands. Hart, 53, looked cheerful in an oversized black shirt, cropped blue jeans, and white trainers, while her husband, 60, wore a blue quarter-zip jumper and jeans.

Decades-Long Health Struggle

This marks a notable moment for Hart, who has been largely out of the public eye due to a prolonged health battle. For over three decades, she struggled with debilitating health issues that left her bedridden. It took 33 years for doctors to correctly diagnose her with Lyme Disease, initially misdiagnosing her symptoms as agoraphobia.

She was later also diagnosed with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome. These illnesses led to fewer television appearances, limited to occasional guest roles.

Star-Studded Cast and Filming Location

Alongside Hart, a prominent cast has begun arriving in Scotland, including Maya Jama, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Ross Kemp, Joanne McNally, Jerry Hall, Richard E Grant, Bella Ramsey, and Amol Rajan. The cast is gathering at Ardross Castle, the show’s dramatic setting.

Full Celebrity Lineup

The second series of 'Celebrity Traitors' features a diverse group of personalities, including actors, comedians, musicians, and presenters. Other stars joining the show are Michael Sheen, James Blunt, Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, James Acaster, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Hannah Fry, King Kenny, Myha’la, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney.

Teaser and Host

The BBC released a teaser trailer showcasing the cast’s arrival, playfully misspelling several celebrities’ names on the arrival signs. The show is hosted by Claudia Winkleman and promises a thrilling game of deception, strategy, and intrigue as celebrities attempt to identify the 'traitors' among them.
