Country singer LeAnn Rimes has announced further concert postponements due to ongoing health problems after contracting COVID-19 and developing severe laryngitis. This follows previous cancellations and a history of health challenges.

Additional Concerts Postponed

LeAnn Rimes, 43, has been forced to postpone performances scheduled in Waukegan, Illinois, and Wilmington, Ohio. These shows have been rescheduled for November 6th and 7th, respectively.

Vocal Cord Examination

Rimes communicated the news to her 1.2 million Instagram followers via Instagram Stories, expressing her disappointment. A medical examination, including a scoping of her vocal cords, confirmed the need for rest and recovery. She emphasized that her inability to perform was beyond her control and expressed her eagerness to return to the stage.

Ticket Information

Ticket holders for the affected shows have been assured that their tickets will remain valid. Refunds are available at the point of purchase for those unable to attend the rescheduled dates.

Recent Health Challenges

This latest setback follows a series of health challenges for Rimes. In January, she underwent a procedure – estimated at around $45,000 – at the Next Health medical clinic in Nashville to ‘clean’ her blood of mold and microplastics.

Longevity Treatment

This longevity treatment involves filtering the liquid portion of blood to remove toxins and inflammatory agents before replenishing it with fresh plasma. Rimes explained her decision, stating her commitment to providing her body with the best possible care.

On-Stage Incident

In June of last year, Rimes experienced a dental bridge dislodging during a performance at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington. She has a history of dental surgeries and even experienced a jaw dislocation during a concert in 2014.

Rimes recounted the incident on social media, humorously describing it as an example of ‘the show must go on.’ Her transparency regarding her health struggles resonates with fans, who have expressed overwhelming support.
