Darrell Sheets, a familiar face to reality television audiences through his appearances on 'Storage Wars,' has passed away at the age of 67.
Death Confirmed by Authorities
The Lake Havasu City Police Department in Arizona confirmed that Sheets died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers responded to a call at Sheets’ residence around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, they found Sheets with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transferred to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office for investigation.
'Storage Wars' Fame
Sheets became a fan favorite during his time on 'Storage Wars,' appearing in 163 episodes between 2010 and 2023. He was known for his charismatic personality and successful bidding strategies at storage unit auctions.
Beyond Reality TV
Sheets also made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,' expanding his presence in the entertainment industry. Following a heart attack in 2019, he retired to Arizona.
He opened an antique store called 'Havasu Show Me Your Junk,' continuing to pursue his passion for antiques. Sheets remained dedicated to finding and selling unique items even after leaving the show.
