The $30 million animated series gets a dark makeover
The eagerly awaited second season of 'Batman: Caped Crusader' has given fans a chilling first glimpse into what's to come. The animated series, set to premiere on July 31, 2026, on Prime Video, has shared initial images that promise a thrilling and dark exploration of the Dark Knight's world.
Among the iconic villains set to appear in the 10-episode season are Edward Nygma/Riddler, Scarecrow, and Mad Hatter. Notably, the Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker, will also make an appearance, having been teased at the end of Season 1.
Roxy Rocket, a character created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini for 'The New Batman Adventures,' is also confirmed to join the fray. No casting announcements have been made for these new roles yet, but the returning voice cast includes Hamish Linklater as Batman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Gordon, and others.
