Man Charged in San Fernando Valley Sexual Assaults
Damian Denzell Robinson Jr., 29, is facing felony and misdemeanor charges following a series of alleged sexual assaults that occurred in the San Fernando Valley on Sunday, April 19th. He has pleaded not guilty and is currently being held on $355,000 bail.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced the charges on Friday, detailing a disturbing pattern of behavior. Robinson is accused of assaulting seven women and attempting to record a six-year-old girl over a six-hour period.
Charges Filed Against Robinson
Robinson faces two felony counts of assault with the intent to commit a forcible sex crime, along with six misdemeanor counts of sexual battery. He is also charged with one misdemeanor count each of engaging in lewd conduct and invasion of privacy through the surreptitious recording of a minor.

The alleged incidents began around 9 a.m. and continued until approximately 3:30 p.m., spanning locations in Granada Hills and North Hills. The first reported assault occurred at a store in Granada Hills, where Robinson allegedly forcibly removed a 64-year-old woman’s pants and made unwanted physical contact.
Shortly after, at approximately 10 a.m., he allegedly attempted to sexually assault a 73-year-old woman in North Hills. He then allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old woman on the street. Over the following hours, Robinson is accused of inappropriately touching four additional women.
The alleged spree culminated around 3:20 p.m. inside a retail store, where he purportedly attempted to secretly record a six-year-old girl using his phone while she was in the bathroom.
Investigation and Arrest
Law enforcement officials identified Robinson as the suspect using closed-circuit television footage. After his photograph and details of the alleged crimes were released, Robinson voluntarily surrendered to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station on Wednesday evening.

If convicted on all charges, Robinson could face a maximum sentence of 16 years and six months in state prison. His prior criminal history, including a previous conviction for indecent exposure and lewd conduct, requires him to register as a sex offender.
