Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrest of 31 suspects following a large-scale undercover sting targeting child predators in Florida.. The operation resulted in the detention of a youth football coach and several employees from major tourism corporations.
Rashion Crayton’s Uber Eats deception
Rashion Crayton, the 31-year-old head coach of the Davenport Titans, was among those arrested for allegedly attempting to meet a minor for illegal sexual activity. As reported by the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Crayton believed he was meeting a 14-year-old girl when he arrived at the designated sting location.
The investigation highlighted a deceptive tactic involving Uber Eats delivery bags to conceal illicit items. According to the report, Crayton arrived at the meeting carrying a battery-operated sex toy and lubricant hidden inside an Uber Eats bag to avoid suspicion during transport.
17 employees from Disney and Universal Studios
Disney and Universal Studios employees accounted for a significant portion of the 31 arrests made during the operation. Specifically, the sting resulted in the detention of 13 Disney Corporation employees and four employees from Universal Studios.
Collin Klaco, a 24-year-old former Disney World cast member, was among those detained with a backpack containing diapers and baby wipes. Investigators stated that Klaco intended to use these items to facilitate a sex fetish involving a 13-year-old boy. In response to the arrests, Disney confirmed it has fired all 13 employees identified as being involved in the sting.
24 armed suspects and the 16 migrants
A high level of physical danger was present during the operation , as 24 of the 31 suspects arrived at the meeting locations armed. This presence of weapons raised significant concerns regarding the potential for violent encounters with law enforcement and undercover officers.
Sixteen of the arrested individuals were identified as illegal migrants and have been handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for further processing. The diverse backgrounds of the suspects, ranging from youth coaches to theme park staff, underscore the wide reach of the predatory activity targeted by the sting.
Sheriff Judd’s 281-arrest campaign
Sheriff Grady Judd has maintained an aggressive stance against child exploitation through a series of sustained law enforcement campaigns. The Sheriff noted that he has already arrested 281 suspects in various sex stings throughout this year alone.
This recent operation in Polk County is part of a broader regional effort to dismantle networks of individuals seeking to harm children. The scale of the arrests reflects a high-intensity approach to policing child sex offenses in the Florida community .
The unverified depth of the theme park infiltration
While the arrests are confirmed, it remains unclear if the 13 Disney employees were acting as part of a larger, organized criminal ring. The current reporting does not specify whether the Universal Studios employees were part of a coordinated group or acting independently. Furthermore, it is not yet known if the screening protocols at these major tourism hubs will undergo a systemic overhaul following this incident.
