Master Replicas has released an 8-inch scale model of the Invictus warship from the Apple TV+ series Foundation.. The $115 collectible features interactive rotating rings and is designed for adult enthusiasts of the Isaac Asimov adaptation.
Rotating Rings and a $115 Price Tag
The new Invictus replica by Master Replicas measures 8 inches (200 mm), a size the company notes is roughly equivalent to the width of a standard coffee mug. According to the report, the model is priced at $115 and is sold exclusively through the official Master Replicas online store. To ensure the safety of the seven-piece construction, the ship is housed in a premium tin box featuring a magnetic flap.
Unlike static figurines, the Invictus model allows collectors to manually rotate its two inner rings. This design choice enables fans to recreate specific flight or battle configurations seen in the Apple TV+ series, adding a tactile dimension to the display piece. Because of its delicate nature, Master Replicas has specified that the model is not intended for children under 14.
From a 1,000-Year Drift to a Collector's Shelf
The Invictus holds a central place in the lore of the Foundation universe as a symbol of the Galactic Empire's overwhelming power. In the series, the warship is a behemoth spanning eight kilometers and requires a crew of 300,000 to operate. Its capabilities include a jump drive and heavy armament, reflecting the sheer scale of Imperial ambition.
The ship's history is defined by a catastrophic malfunction that trapped the vessel in an unstable gravity loop for a millennium. As reported, the Invictus was eventually rediscovered by the Anacreons and salvaged through the efforts of Foundation characters Salvor Hardin and Hugo Crast. This transition from an Imperial weapon to a tool for the Foundation's resistance—specifically in the creation of covert "whisper ships"—makes the model a narrative touchstone for viewers.
The Imperial Jump Ship and the Galactic Frontier RPG
The launch of the Invictus model is part of a broader merchandise push coinciding with the October 2025 finale of Foundation Season Three... As the report says, Master Replicas expanded its licensed line earlier in July with the release of the Imperial Jump Ship, which focuses on the Empire's faster-than-light travel capabilities rather than the battle-worn history of the Invictus.
Beyond physical collectibles, the intellectual property is moving into the gaming sector. Apple's adaptation is being expanded via a strategy role-playing game titled Foundation: Galactic Frontier. This digital expansion suggests that the franchise is attempting to build a multi-platform ecosystem where physical models and interactive media reinforce the same world-building .
Will the Invictus appear in the Galactic Frontier game?
While the physical model celebrates the ship's legacy ,it remains unconfirmed whether the Invictus will be a playable or narrative element within the Foundation: Galactic Frontier RPG. The source does not provide a confirmation from the game developers regarding the ship's inclusion, leaving fans to wonder if the model is a standalone tribute or a teaser for upcoming digital content.
