Whataburger is recognizing National Teacher Appreciation Week with a special initiative to thank educators and support classrooms. The fast-food chain will offer free breakfast to teachers and school staff on Thursday, May 7th.

Free Breakfast for Educators

From 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. local time, teachers and school staff can enjoy a complimentary breakfast item at participating Whataburger locations. Valid school ID is required to redeem the offer.

Breakfast options include the Breakfast on a Bun, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, and Breakfast Taquito. The offer is valid for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru orders, limited to one free item per person. Customers are encouraged to check with their local Whataburger for specific operating hours.

$60,000 in Classroom Grants

Beyond the free breakfast, Whataburger is investing in education through its “Feeding Student Success” initiative. This year, the company will award $1,000 classroom grants to 60 teachers across its 17-state footprint.

Supporting Student Success

These grants aim to provide teachers with funding for essential classroom supplies and innovative teaching strategies. Whataburger believes in the crucial role teachers play in shaping the next generation and is committed to supporting their efforts.

“Whatateacher” Gift Bundle

A limited-edition “Whatateacher” bundle is also available for purchase through the Whatastore. This bundle includes a 40-ounce tumbler, a WhataTeacher T-shirt, a notebook, a wristlet, and a bag.
