A lawsuit filed in New York alleges that Lorna Hajdini, a JPMorgan Chase executive director in Leveraged Finance, sexually harassed and abused a male colleague. The allegations include drugging and the use of racial slurs.

Allegations of Harassment and Abuse

The complaint details accusations of non-consensual sexual acts, racial abuse, threats to the employee’s career, and drugging with ‘roofies’ starting in the spring of 2024. The plaintiff, identified as John Doe, is an Asian Senior VP/Director.

Escalation of Conduct

Doe alleges Hajdini initiated unwanted physical contact early in their working relationship, making sexually suggestive remarks and escalating to explicit propositions. He claims she threatened his professional advancement and job security if he didn’t comply with her demands.

Further Accusations

The lawsuit further claims Hajdini used derogatory racial slurs and made disparaging comments about Doe’s wife. Doe asserts that Hajdini admitted to drugging him on multiple occasions to facilitate unwanted sexual encounters and monitored his financial activity.

JPMorgan Chase's Response

JPMorgan Chase maintains a thorough internal investigation found no evidence to support the claims. The firm states Doe refused to participate in the investigation, while numerous other employees cooperated.

Allegations of Retaliation

Doe alleges that after reporting the abuse to JPMorgan Chase, the firm retaliated by placing him on involuntary leave and allowing threats against him to continue. The complaint cites two witnesses who corroborate parts of Doe’s account.

Legal Action

The lawsuit seeks damages for the alleged harm caused by Hajdini and JPMorgan Chase’s alleged enabling of the abuse and subsequent retaliation. The case was filed in New York County Supreme Court, with Doe proceeding anonymously.

Hajdini and JPMorgan Chase have not yet publicly responded to the lawsuit, but were contacted for comment by The Daily Mail.
